    Behind them are usually wonderful people who do their work with a lot of passion. Unfortunately, they are overshadowed year after year by the marketing and advertising of the large rental corporations.

    Local companies are often run by small teams that focus more on heart and people rather than money and marketing. As a result, rental prices are usually unbeatable (sometimes up to 50% cheaper than the big companies), and all processes and interactions feel much warmer and more personal.

    Once you’ve decided to rent the car, it will be reserved for you until your arrival. The remaining payment is made on-site. A valid credit card is helpful for this.

    We only send you offers that include comprehensive and 100% waterproof insurance. This is extremely important to ensure your adventure doesn’t turn into a nightmare.

    In New Zealand, you really have to be careful when it comes to car insurance. There are plenty of extremely cheap offers, but many of them won’t protect you in case of an emergency. Suddenly, you could be stuck with a massive pile of debt and have to cancel your trip.

    1. Functionality Guarantee

    All cars have been guaranteed to undergo thorough inspections and have passed the official Warrant of Fitness (WOF) as well as the registration for NZ (REGO) are valid.

    Vehicles without a valid WOF (Warrant of Fitness) and REGO (Registration) cannot be legally driven in New Zealand. Unfortunately, when it comes to private sales between backpackers, cheating often occurs: falsified data, hidden damages, and cars in poor condition.

    All our partners are licensed car dealers and are legally obligated not to sell or rent unsuitable cars. So, you don’t have to worry about that:-)

    2. Cleanliness Guarantee

    All vehicles are thoroughly cleaned. Everything is carefully vacuumed and wiped down, upholstery is replaced, and new mattresses are regularly purchased.

    Especially for couples, traveling together can be a real challenge. One reason for this is that you’re forced to live in close quarters for an extended period. If this shared space is dirty, stress and frustration are almost guaranteed.
